To strengthen our construction team, we are looking for an experienced construction fitter who is ready to take on a challenging project!

As a metalworker at Kersten, you’ll work alongside your colleagues on the most incredible curved structures all over the world. No two days are the same! You’ll drill, bend, saw, and assemble curved components for architectural projects, heavy offshore structures, 3D curved roller coaster structures; you name it…

Here's what you'll be doing

You will have a varied range of responsibilities that may differ depending on the project or product.

• You will read technical drawings.
• You will independently perform various construction tasks, such as drilling, bending, sawing, and welding curved parts.
• You will move products using hoisting equipment, including overhead cranes.

We’d love to welcome you to our construction team, a fun and enthusiastic group of colleagues. Most of the work takes place in our construction hall, which is equipped with a variety of modern machines and equipment for performing construction work on (bent) steel products.

Here’s what we ask of you

For this position, we are looking for someone with experience who can work independently. That is why we ask the following of you:

• You have extensive experience as a structural metalworker
• You are certified in MIG/MAG welding (minimum Level 2)
• You are a team player 
• You have a no-nonsense attitude
• You are quality-oriented

Level of education

We value your experience and personal attitude more than your educational background. The educational level required is equivalent toTechnical vocational background in metal engineering.
