CNC Aluminium machining operator

The combination of various technologies, including engineering, bending technology, various machining processes and qualified welding processes enables us to supply a total product to customers in various sectors. 

To expand our team, we are looking for a CNC aluminium machining operator.

What you will be doing

We bend and process aluminium in our aluminium factory, which is equipped with modern machinery that includes an advanced CNC milling machine for the 5-axis machining of bent aluminium profiles. We are looking for an operator for this machine. 
Your tasks are as follows:

• In close cooperation with your colleagues and/or the work planner, you will determine the best method for machining.
• You will contribute to the development of the ideal clamping method. We often work with small to medium-sized series of one-off products.
• You create CNC programmes.
• You mill (bent) aluminium profiles on the CNC machines.
• You measure the work pieces.
• You are responsible for the daily maintenance of the machines.

This is where you will be working

You will be working in a nice team with a pleasant atmosphere. No two days are the same! As a team, you work on serial products for trains, buses and (medical) devices, for example, and you work together on curved parts and subassemblies for architectural projects all over the world. The factory is equipped with a series of modern CNC bending machines, sawing machines, an advanced 5-axis milling machine for the mechanical processing of bent parts and an ageing furnace.

We could list a lot of things here, but the most important thing is collegiality. Is this a high priority for you, are you eager to learn, do you have experience with CNC milling and do you like sharing knowledge? Then you will probably fit in well in this position. Knowledge of programming is not a requirement; that is done in our P&E department. Every person can achieve the same in an environment where opportunities are offered.
