Stuart, Welder

Stuart is from Scotland and has been working at Kersten as a welder for a few years now.

‘We make very different products here, and that makes the work so much fun. One week we're welding parts for a spiral staircase, and the next week you're welding parts for offshore. That variety is very nice’.

Stuart takes a welding course alongside his work. ‘I just passed level 2 and now I'm working on level 3. That is also a reason why I wanted to work at Kersten. They offer welding courses to improve your welding skills.’

'The atmosphere at Kersten is also really nice; ‘Gezellig’ as they say in Dutch. The colleagues are cordial and happy to help you with problems. There is always someone to help you’.
