With no electricity, just air, the structure closes to create a cool, shaded spot for visitors to relax.
Kersten is proud to have produced the curved aluminium parts that help shape this innovative structure.
You can now visit the SOMBRA pavilion in the Marinaressa Gardens, part of the 'Time Space Existence' exhibition of the Biennale Architettura in Venice.
SOMBRA will be in Venice until 23 November.
