CNC Aluminium machining operator

We are getting more and more demand for machined products and our aluminium department is growing. That is why we are expanding our team and looking for an enthusiastic new colleague. 

WHAT WILL YOU DO AS A CNC Machining operator AT KERSTEN?

As a CNC machining operator, you will machine our (mostly) bent aluminium products on our 5-axis CMS and EIMA machining centers. Because of this wide variety of products, no day is the same and you will have a lot of variety in your work!

• Together with your colleagues, you determine the best processing method for the product
• You will read technical drawings and create the CNC programs 
• Programming and operating the machining centers
• You will machine the (bent) aluminium profiles
• Measuring and checking the workpieces
• You perform daily maintenance to the machines and ensure a clean and orderly workplace.

WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING

You will join a nice team with a pleasant, informal working atmosphere. As a team, you will work on both serial products for trains, buses and (medical) devices, and project-based products for architecture and facade construction, for example. The factory is equipped with a series of advanced bending machines, sawing machines, 5-axis machining centers, a Mitutoyo measuring room and an ageing furnace.
